3 Mobile Broadband (www.Three.co.uk) has launched a new laptop deal, cutting the cost of its Samsung N130 netbook.
The provider has relaunched its popular £17.50 a month “free laptop” deal, allowing customers to sign up and get a free Samsung N130 mini laptop, with a 1GB monthly mobile broadband download allowance for less than £20 a month.
The Samsung N310 has a 10.1inch screen and weighs just 1.25kg - making it small enough to fit in your handbag. It also has a 160GB hard drive and a built-in webcam.
Customers will also get a mobile broadband dongle, so that they can get online wherever they go, with a 1GB download allowance. The deal is subject to a 24 month contract and out of bundle data costs 10p per MB.
Michael Phillips, Broadbandchoices.co.uk product director, said: “Free laptop deals are always popular around Christmas time, and netbooks like the Samsung N130 make great gifts.
“However, anyone looking to sign up to a deal like this needs to take into consideration the fact that it is a two year commitment. Also, you will need to keep an eye on your download allowance. 1GB is only really suitable for very lightweight users and out of bundle costs can soon add up.
“Make sure that you regularly check your 3 Mobile account to see how much data you’ve used, or install our free Broadband Download Monitor, which allows you to set alarms as you reach your limit,” he advised.
