  2. awful service, im paying 14.99 a month and wanted to see if i could get a better deal, the first customer service man said he could give me free calls but when i got put through to the verification lady (who didn't speak English very well) I was told that I couldn't have this offer. I have broadband, but can't have a free laptop as it wouldn't work in my area - what rubbish is that??? Will leave AOL and move to another provider

  4. I recently realize that some people use Aol only £9.9o monthly but my direct debit bill comes up over £33.0 monthly which is totally unfair to me. If you can't make it as low as possible than I can afford I therefore have to switch to other boards like back to B.T. since I have to pay the rental line every month. Besides, look into my account if I could be able to claim back the past expenses you have overcharged me over the past years since I joined AOL. I have to sort this out as quick as possible as I only have a part time job recently.Thank you .

  5. I contacted yourselves last week with regard to my computer upgards and the installation of Vista windows. You are aware that a modem does not run on Vista and promised to send me a replacement router to deal with the problem. That was last week and I am still waiting

  6. I have been waiting for approx 1 month for the delivery of a router which i can then attatch to my new pc which runs vista, my old modem does not work with vista, therefor i need a new one. each time i phone up i am told that the order has been cancelled due to 'technical difficulties' and a new order has been placed. I have now been without internet access since 31 july ( i was not able to place an order then as i was told AOL were being taken over that weekend, so had to place the order on 4 aug), yet I am still paying for it! I feel that this level of support and customer service is appaling.

  8. Wow I'm amazed. I'm glad I'm not the only one that has noticed that AOL is rapidly going down the pan. In an age when Broadband is getting faster and cheaper. AOL is getting slower and greedier. Especially now the promise of never capping customer usage has been broken. No amount of free laptops, and not very good one's at that. Is going to help anyone who can only afford the lowest broadband package of a 10gb allowance per month. Which could mean for a heavy home user all of 3 days use. And 25 days of waiting for their next monthly allowance. So now where is that limitless broadband for existing and new AOL customers alike. I have waded through all the bumpf and guffaw that AOL has to give. And I cannot see any great incentives for loyal or new customers alike. And when you bring this subject up on the famous AOL switchboard that sends you around the world in 80 seconds.
