i'm hoping this will track my activity level on a cable moden. - Feb 8 2010 5:10PM

I have just upgraded from version 1.0 to 1.3, mainly because, since last December, the pop-up notification has been unable to show 2010 as the year of the "Start date" or "End date", but leaves it blank.

However, version 1.3 also suffers from the same defect.

In addition, when re-entering my download limit (10GB) the version 1.3 software multiplied this to 1000GB!

On checking the registry entry I found that it was shown there as something like 1032240MB! I corrected this in the registry to 10240 and now the download summary and preferences show the correct percentage or MB(GB) remaining but the download limit box is empty.

Clearly the software is due for an update!

I believe Allan of Australia is a bit of a non-thinker. The password he is asked to supply is, surely, for the purposes of logging-on to the Broadbandchoices site NOT for his actual email account.....some people in the antipodes have no idea! - Feb 7 2010 3:33AM

To use your download monitor, I have to no only supply my e-mail address but I also have to supply you with my personal password for that e-mail address. This sounds very unethical as well as jepodising security .
I would appreciate if you could explain this because I have never come across this before where a person has to supply their personal password for their e-mail address

I must be a bit slow because I cannot get beyond logging in. I completed the registration and have a password but keep going round in circles. What am I not doing? - Feb 3 2010 6:16PM

Hi

I'm based in Australia, but when registering I'm forced to put a UK postcode.

I downloaded the download monitor to my new desktop PC during the middle of a month of my contract the version on my laptop allowed the start date of your contract to be altered but in this version I cannot find a way to alter it from the day I downloaded it and started using it. The only difference between the 2 operating systems is one is windows 7 32bit the desktop is 64bit - Jan 27 2010 8:15PM
