i found 3 mobile broadband is alot better than karoo and faster if they carry on the way they r going KC will lose customers 2 other networks the should let other networks in to hull and let us choose who is better they say they are a better connection speed how do we no that other than from there sayin on there website so we belive it its about time we can have other providers e.g virgin and sky broadband let us see how good they are. or are kc scared of losing all there customers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Apr 28 2009 5:24PM
Karoo are living in cloud cuckoo land. From the best in the country to possibly an also ran in just a few years. The geographical are is too restricting to expand and improve. Its time they closed up, gave up their licences and put the area up to the highest bidder. I experience their commercial service as well my domestic one. From my other office I could cycle quicker than the link works. Oh and yes they appreciate its a problem but after two years no nearer to a solution. - Apr 9 2009 6:00PM

Who writes this! Karoo are awful. Slow speeds and expensive! 8M/Bits and i get 1.7 and thats after upgrading to their fab new ADSL+2. Before i upgraded i was getting 2.8 M/Bits, crazy! The only positive thing about about Karoo is you can ring a local number if you have any problems. Karoo top broadnabd provider... NOT! - Apr 7 2009 1:36AM

my speed varies from day to nite time use your service isnt perfect by a long way my connections sometimes takes an age to display and also shows karoo blank page but on the whole i am satisfied with the service but not the price compared with other providers as for the annonomous from beverley forget bt coming here they are not willing to spend 15 million pound to get a small return for therexpense so put up with what you have - Mar 24 2009 9:37PM

yeah, download speeds. I downloaded something last week that made 500kbs. I thought I had died and gone to heaven cos normally its about 20kbs if I am lucky it gets to 50. I am on the new deal so I am watching those figures carefully, I had a splurge at the beginning of the accounting period and am now being ultra careful or I shall be paying. If I had a choice I would probably be outta here too. - Mar 21 2009 8:53AM
What this doesn't mention is that with karoo you may get a connection of 4.5Mbs, but they throttle it so that you'll never see better than 500Kbs when downloading!
Also, comparing the new packages they brought out last year, to the older ones that we're still on, if we went for the newer deal it would cost us £15/month more for the same allowances!

thank you, but it doe't tell me who's best in my area. m. - Mar 4 2009 12:04AM

I see like me most peeps fron Hull complain, BUT, If another ISP was here what do you think you would get? there still using the same lines as Karoo so as for a better service forget it.
Untill someone is willing to do away with copper lines then no-one will ever see a difference in speeds.

The karoo system may give these high readings for some but that doesn't apply to everyone on karoo! My download speed averaged 1.4 for February & 0.54 upload, despite supposedly being 'up to 8mb' Hardly something to be boasting about - Feb 28 2009 11:05PM

wow your top of your own tests, why dont you give the whole of yorkshire a choice in there telephone like wait a year then have a test on how many custermors you still have probably about 10% of the original no one cares everyone hates your services and if a choice was given kingston would be the last for most i asure you I just feel sorry that you will be bancrupt when bt finally comes to the area.
