Karoo (Kingston Communications) are poor overall, no competition allows them to treat their customers badly and massively over charge them. If this monopoly were ended (as it should be) they would have very few customers at all. - May 7 2009 8:55PM

My email provider has been Sky for the past 2 months and on the medium package that has been monitored by you checker it has never dropped more than once below 4mb and the majority of time has been near 5mb sometimes slightly above.
On Virgin 2mbs I only had 1.93 and it cost over 3 times the price!

Karoo - 8.5 Mbs at this location, have had a download at 10 Mbs, no competition available but doubt if they could beat this speed, still tops. - Apr 14 2009 7:23PM
im with b.t and there speeds are very poor, the b.t network is badly congested, and they do alot of traffic shaping, come peek times my upto 8mbps turns into dial up very slow,
b.t need to change the old copper lines a.s.a.p. why do bt own all the telepone lines in the uk this is very bad as they have no compertision so they can do what they like, at the best of times i only get 2mbps, bt have let the u.k get well behind in the broadband revolustion. bt suck, stay away,, virgin media offers faster speeds but cant get cabel, and bt customer services are shocking, all from india that just read from scrips, i hate bt cant wait till my contracts up, will never go back, what about the new 21cn bt what a joke the roll out is to slow
