I'm with Karoo broadband and it's terrible - don't listen to them blowing hot air about how fast they are...I constantly get disconnected sometime as much as every 15 minutes, I'm on their most expensive package which aparently grants me a prioity during peak times, this I don't believe...Also their technical customer service, which (thank God) is English, don't even have a clue about ANYTHING technical at all - I had to explain to them what an ADSL filter does.

Can't even change providers either as Karoo has the monopoly over Hull, there's no BT lines.

Recently I was on holiday at Gran Canaria. The hotel (a 3 *) had 3 Internet PCs which amazingly downloaded immediately without hesitation or any kind of delay; their speeds were amazing!. Not so long ago Spain and those islands were culturally backwards under Franco; where I wonder did we fall behind? - Oct 17 2008 11:09PM
