Take a broadband speed test
A broadband speed test loads a file onto your computer and measures how long it takes for the file to reach you. It then calculates how fast your connection is, and you might be surprised by the results.
Take a speed test using the BroadbandChoices Speed test. All you have to do is let us know you current supplier and we will then tell you your current download speed.
If your broadband speed test gives a result of less than what you were expecting, you may want to check with your broadband provider if there is a temporary problem.
Broadband speed tests are also known as ADSL speed tests.
