Award winning broadband provider PlusNet is offering half price broadband this summer.

The provider, which won the Best Consumer ISP category at this year’s ISPA awards, is offering a 50 per cent discount on its Broadband Your Way packages when taken with either of its Evening and Weekends or Anytime home phone packages.

"PlusNet has won a host of awards in recent years so is obviously a good choice"

This means that customers switching to PlusNet (www.Plus.net) will be able to get broadband from only £4.99 a month.

Option 1, which has a download allowance of 1GB a month, will cost £4.99 for the first three months and £9.99 thereafter, Option 2, with a download allowance of 15GB will be £7.49 for the first three months and £14.99 thereafter, Option 3, with a download allowance of 30GB will be £9.99 for the first three months and £19.99 thereafter - as will PlusNet’s Pro option.

The Evening and Weekends or Anytime home phone packages then cost £9.99 a month and £15 a month respectively.

The offer lasts for three months and was launched yesterday, running until 31 August. Customers signing up will be subject to a 12 month contract.

Michael Phillips, BroadbandChoices.co.uk product director, said: “This is a very tempting offer from a provider that has won a host of awards in recent years so is obviously a good choice.

“It has also launched some bundled packages that include line rental too - and customers that are willing to sign a 12 month contract can get Broadband Option 3, Home Phone Anytime and line rental for just £24.99 for three months and £34.99 thereafter.”
