  • UX Designer and Product Executive

    You will be passionate about great UX and love to work with a start-up approach. You will work with a fellow Designer, benefiting from each other’s experience, operating as tight and awesome team. You will be part of a flat structured Development Team who operate without ego. You will enjoy working on new greenfield products and feel at home monitoring user behaviour on a big user base to improve your products.

    UX Designer and Product Executive

    You will report to the Senior Project Manager and the ultimate goal for the collective team is to maximize product KPIs to drive bottom line growth and while working with the COO in scoping and delivering innovative new products. The key performance requirements include:

    • Monetisation – continuous improvement of customer monetisation metrics, by delivering an optimisation and enhancement programme to enhance customer satisfaction with rapid product iterations
    • Innovation / New Products - deploy new products verticals under the direction of other departments. Actively seek out opportunities and build on existing product in all verticals to continually drive growth of core KPIs
    • Return on investment – ensure that there is a clear and timely return on investment for all optimisation and new product development initiatives; minimising risk using lean methodologies (data driven decision making, minimal viable product)
    • Productivity – continuous focus on improvement to development processes, implementing cutting edge working practices and technology so that we have an advantage over our competitors in terms of speed to market and cost base
    • Engaged and outcome driven - Build cross functional teams working on goal driven feature developments to solve customer and business problems, where there is an emotional ownership and demonstrable commitment to deliver value

    Key responsibilities:

    The UX Designer and Product Executive’s contribution to the above will take form in the following responsibilities:

    • Produce high quality visual designs that enhance the customer experience and drives growth for the business.
    • Help set the objectives to improve the performance of key KPI’s. Accountable for the achievement of these objectives.
    • Push creativity, challenge established thinking, discover new ways of approaching and solving a problem.
    • Work collaboratively and pro-actively with the Head of Product, Development Team and wider business.
    • Participate as a team member in a cross-functional Agile/LEAN development team.

    The candidate (key competencies):

    • Design - Utilise best practice Design and UX techniques to create product enhancements. Leverage tools such as Crazy Egg and Qualaroo to drive objective evidence based decisions for the good of the product. Ensure a consistent look and feel for the DTL Product Suite.
    • Executing for Results – You should have a deep desire for success and high standards; always keeping your eye on the results and staying close to tactics. You lead by example and you have a strong sense of urgency. You are able to direct your colleagues and team to set priorities and effectively execute. You also have the ability to act quickly to seize opportunities and drive issues to closure; spots and capitalizes on trends. You are decisive and possesses a "big picture" perspective, but willing to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

    Essential Key Experience/Skills:
    • A good understanding of User Experience, accessibility and user centred design principles and processes.
    • Creative, imaginative and passionate for getting the job done correctly with an obsessive eye for detail.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Understanding of modern web design principles and how to design for desktop, tablet and mobile concurrently.
    • An eagerness to learn, share and develop your skills and experience.
    • Mac and PC literate with excellent knowledge of Adobe products, primarily Photoshop.

    Senior Developer

    As a BroadbandChoices Senior Developer you should produce a multiplier effect on the output of your team through facilitating debate, arbitrating technical decisions and ensuring the right decisions are made on team at the right time. You will work with the Development Team and other Business Units collaboratively to ensure application requirements are understood and translated to simple, agile, solutions. You are will report to the Technical Lead and the team supported by the PMO giving you the space to focus on code, architecture, implementation and delivery.

    We run an all senior flat structured team and we are looking for an articulate, passionate and driven Senior Developer. You need to be open to new approaches and feel comfortable suggesting new options to your peers. They are friendly, approachable and highly intelligent. As a Developer you are looking to master the art of software development and do not accept mediocrity.

    You will:
    • have at least 18 months experience in digital marketing, with a focus on PPC.
    • have enthusiasm and passion for all things digital, with a desire to learn and develop.

    Strategy, planning and implementation
    • You will lead on the day-to-day optimisation of PPC.
    • You will support the Digital Marketing Manager in the delivery of display activity.
    • You will support the Digital Marketing Manager in the delivery of the digital strategy, as part of the wider marketing strategy.
    • You will help develop our Mobile comparison product offering through the most cost-effective digital channels.
    • You will help the Digital Marketing Manager develop growth opportunity areas, including GDN, Gmail Sponsored Promotion Ads, Facebook Advertising, etc.

    Analysis
    • You will work alongside the Digital Marketing Manager on all digital reporting and performance updates to key internal and external stakeholders.
    • You will help develop and report on test and learn initiatives.


    Essential experience/skills:
    • It is vital that the candidate has a good working knowledge of Google AdWords and Bing Ads (should ideally be Google AdWords Certified), and can demonstrate experience of having:
    • set up PPC and GDN campaigns.
    • optimised PPC and GDN campaigns to KPIs.
    • set up and managed ad extensions.
    • used desktop tools for bulk editing (AdWords Editor and Bing Ads Editor).
    • The candidate must also have experience, or at least an understanding of:
    • implementing automated bid rules.
    • creating and managing remarketing for search ads.
    • optimizing for devices (mobile).
    • language, location and day part targeting.
    • third party research tools (for keyword mining, etc.).
    • third party tracking tools (for optimizing and reporting).
    • creating dynamic keyword lists, ads and landing pages.
    • Strong analytical skills, with a good working knowledge of Excel.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong academic background.

    Desired experience/skills:

    • The following would be an advantage, but are not essential:
    • experience of the home comms and entertainment sector (broadband, TV, phone and mobile)
    • familiarity with Google Analytics.

  • Content Marketing / SEO executive

    You will be a talented and inquisitive marketer with relevant, demonstrable experience of content marketing and outreach campaigns. You will also have a passion for social media and understand how to get audiences engaged with a brand.

    Content Marketing / SEO executive

    Key responsibilities:

    You will work closely with the in-house Editorial and Marketing teams, as well as our Content Marketing Agency, to deliver best in class content marketing. You will also co-ordinate social media channels to grow followers, exposure and brand affinity. Responsibilities will include:

    Outreach and PR

    • Supporting the Head of Content Marketing in coordinating cross-departmental outreach activities
    • Executing content marketing plans to meet brand and SEO-specific goals
    • Planning and delivering outreach campaigns to build links, brand authority, and improve SEO ranking
    • Building and maintaining relationships with key bloggers and journalists for outreach
    • Building good relationships with different teams and colleagues across the business


    Social Media

    • Working alongside the Head of Content Marketing to implement integrated content marketing strategy
    • Social campaign planning, management & performance tracking
