Broadband options for Mac users

Broadband itself isn’t either Mac or PC; it’s just the hardware and software that’s provided with your connection that determines which operating system you can use. And while you can buy your own modem or router to ensure compatibility, if your ISPs installation disc doesn’t work, you still won’t be able to connect.

We have listed above some of the ISPs that offer Mac compatible products. You can also do a broadband comparison search to find out what else is available.

Your "Mac Broadband" article is misleading - surely if one does buy one's own broadband router...or just use the ISP's "bundled" router, you only need to obtain the settings of your connection from your ISP and manually input them into the router - without having to use an ISP installation disc. I use O2 broadband (which you don't mention in your suggested Mac Broadband Providers list) and it works fantastically with my MacBook Pro.
