3’s sim-only mobile broadband plan runs on a 30 day contract - so you only need to give 30 days notice if you want to cancel - perfect for people who only need mobile broadband for part of the year, such as students and occasional business users.

3 dongles

To use your 3 mobile broadband sim, you'll have to have a 3 dongle. Mobile broadband dongles are locked to their network, so you can't use them with a sim card from another provider. However, you can buy a 3 mobile USB modem stick for less than £20 - and if you’re an existing pay as you go customer, or you have an old dongle you're no longer using, you can simply use your new sim and switch to the provider’s 30 day contract.
