Out of the blue: Sky unveils 76Mb fibre broadband

Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro only on offer to new customers and existing ones not on Sky Broadband Unlimited or Sky Fibre Unlimited

Sky has made a new up to 76Mb fibre broadband package available, but with little of the fanfare that usually accompanies the arrival of such a service.

Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro, which costs £30 per month and also offers upload speeds of up to 19Mb and unlimited downloads, did not receive an official launch.

The package is only available by calling Sky on 0844 241 0582, and only new subscribers and existing Sky customers who do not already have Sky Broadband Unlimited or Sky Fibre Unlimited can sign-up to it.

The provider has said it is working on making the new package available to existing Sky Broadband Unlimited and Sky Fibre Unlimited customers who would like to upgrade.

Those wishing to get Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro must also take Sky Line Rental and a Sky Talk call package, available from £12.25 per month, and live in a Sky network area.

Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro offers speeds up to double those offered by Sky Fibre Unlimited, the first fibre broadband package offered by Sky, which became available two weeks ago.
