TalkTalk Mobile gives customers a 'boost'

Mobile phone users on TalkTalk contracts can now tailor their tariff by adding extra minutes, texts or data on a flexible monthly basis.

TalkTalk has launched a range of 'boosts' that allow mobile customers to personalise their tariff.

The broadband and phone provider, which started offering mobile contracts in August last year, is now giving customers the option to purchase flexible monthly add-ons.

For example, for £2.50 extra per month, TalkTalk Mobile will give you either 200 minutes of UK call time, 500 additional texts or 150MB data.

The table below gives full details of all TalkTalk's mobile boosts:

Tristia Clarke, commercial director at TalkTalk, said: "We expect these boosts to appeal to a wide range of our customers whose needs vary on a month-to-month basis.

"The process is simple and easy to use and the prices are unbeatable. These boosts demonstrate our commitment to customers by providing them with the best value mobile tariffs."

TalkTalk Mobile offers a choice of three plans, simply named Small, Medium and Large.

TalkTalk Mobile price plans

Earlier this week, another budget mobile provider promised never to increase its prices for customers who are tied into a contract.

Tesco Mobile said it's "only fair" to stick to the price agreed when a customer signs up.

In a recent survey by the supermarket, one in four people said mid-contract price hikes are the worst annoyance of all when it comes to mobile phone services.
