TalkTalk is offering customers free broadband and phone calls until 2010.
TalkTalk Broadband (www.TalkTalk.co.uk) is offering its Essentials package for free until 2010 to all customers signing up by 2 March.
| "This offer brings your total first year cost down to just £159.99 for broadband, home phone, line rental and installation" |
Customers will only have to pay £10.50 a month for their TalkTalk line rental for the duration of the offer. The offer is available in Carphone Warehouse stores or by calling 0800 0497890.
TalkTalk’s Essentials package comes with up to 8Mb broadband, a 40GB monthly download allowance and a free wireless router as well as free evening, weekend and international landline calls to 36 destinations.
Customers can also choose from a selection of Boosts on a month-by-month basis for £4 each, offering a speed boost to the maximum your line can handle, a download boost to double your allowance to 80GB a month, security for up to three PCs, unlimited anytime UK landline calls, half price calls to UK mobiles and a range of call features including ringback, call divert and call waiting.
The Essentials plan is already £112.24 cheaper than the equivalent from BT Broadband (www.BT.com) over the course of a year. And this new promotion will save customers an additional £77.88 over the 12 months.
However, the package is subject to an 18 month contract and the monthly cost will rise to £16.99 a month including line rental. A £29.99 connection charge is also applicable.
Michael Phillips, BroadbandChoices.co.uk product director, said: “A number of providers, including O2 Broadband (www.O2.co.uk) and Virgin Media (www.VirginMedia.com), have launched “free broadband” promotions as the credit crunch has tightened its hold, but none have gone so far as to offer their services for free for the rest of the year.
“Offering “free broadband” already made TalkTalk one of the cheapest ISPs in the market, but this offer brings your total first year cost down to just £159.99 for broadband, home phone, line rental and installation - making it a really great deal.”
