New mobile broadband laptops from 3

New customers signing up to one of 3 mobile broadband's (www.Three.co.uk) “free laptop” deals can now get themselves one of two new Samsung laptops or even a Sony Vaio.
The Samsung N150 netbook will replace the Samsung N130 on 3. It comes with a 10.1in screen, a 160GB hard drive, built-in web cam and comes with the latest Windows 7 operating system. It also offers up to 10 hours battery life.
It is available from £30 a month on an 18 month contract with a 5GB monthly download allowance.
If you're after a full-sized laptop, both the Samsung R530 and the Sony Vaio 2MO offer larger screens.
The Samsung R530, which you can get on a mobile broadband plan from £35 a month, comes with a 15.6in screen, 320GB hard drive, a built-in web cam and Windows 7.

The Sony Vaio 2MO offers similar specs with a slightly smaller 15.1in screen. It is available on “free laptop” deals starting from £40.

These new laptops will replace the Samsung N130, the Toshiba T130 and the HP DM3.
Michael Phillips, Broadbandchoices.co.uk product director, advised: “Free laptop deals are a great way of spreading the cost of a new computer. And unlike many other providers, 3 offers selected laptops on shorter 18 month contracts.
“But there are a number of different things you need to think about when choosing a mobile broadband laptop deal. Before you choose the computer you want, you need to make sure that your provider can give you an adequate connection where you live - so run a postcode search to compare mobile broadband coverage.
“You also need to make sure that your package offers enough data each month. You don’t want to end up exceeding your allowance, as this can soon become costly,” he advised.
