Plusnet offers £4.99 broadband

Plusnet (www.Plus.net) is offering the UK’s cheapest standalone broadband from just £4.99 a month.

The award-winning broadband provider is offering all new customers signing up via Broadbandchoices.co.uk by 30 June a £1.50 monthly discount on its Value package, bringing the cost down from £6.49 to less than £5 a month for local loop unbundled (LLU) customers.

Plusnet Value comes with 8Mb broadband speeds and a 10GB monthly download allowance as well as free overnight downloads between midnight and 8am.

Customers wanting to sign up to the high-end Plusnet Extra package can also get a £2 discount each month, bringing the cost of the package to just £9.49 a month for LLU customers in Plusnet’s “low cost areas”, which cover around 80% of the UK.

It comes with speeds of up to 20Mb broadband, a 60GB download allowance and free overnight downloads.

To take advantage of the deal use the promotional code bbcvalue if you're signing up to the Value package or bbcextra for Plusnet Extra.

Both packages can also be bundled with Plusnet line rental and a choice of either evening and weekend calls or anytime landline calls.
