T-Mobile has won more categories than any other mobile broadband provider in YouGov’s Dongle Tracker report
T-MobileBroadband (www.T-Mobile.co.uk) has topped six out of 13 categories in a YouGov mobile broadband survey.
| “No matter how often they access the internet, they will never pay more than their monthly flat rate” |
The mobile broadband survey, Dongle Tracker, was carried out in April among 2,083 users. T-Mobile topped the categories of coverage, billing, getting connected, ease of use, installation, and shared top honours for customer service.
This is the fourth instalment of the survey which began in July 2008. In the previous round in February, T-Mobile topped nine out of the 13 categories
Richard Warmsley, head of internet and entertainment for T-Mobile said: "As internet access from any location continues to rise up the priority list for our customers, we aim to provide them with total freedom to check emails, surf the internet and share photos. [T-Mobile customers like to have] the reassurance that no matter how often they access the internet, they will never pay more than their monthly flat rate."
Michael Phillips, BroadbandChoices.co.uk product director, said: “Broadband on-the-go is increasingly important to internet users as an add-on to fixed-line broadband. T-Mobile has invested strongly in 3G coverage – entering into a network-sharing agreement with 3 and it suggests it will have near total population coverage for its network by 2010. ”
He added: “Customer service and clear billing is also a vital marker for users. T-Mobile keeps its plans straightforward, subject to a fair use policy.”
