TalkTalk's Broadband + Phone - Essentials Package details...

TalkTalk is the broadband and home phone arm of the Carphone Warehouse. They were the first to offer "free" broadband to customers on certain phone tariffs in 2006 and offer very competitive bundles.

This package bundles your broadband, home phone and line rental from TalkTalk. Perfect for spending hours online, downloading music in seconds, streaming videos or downloading DVD qualities movies in a matter of hours

The main features included with this package are a free wireless router, unlimited evening and weekend calls to landlines and a 40GB download limit

Modem/RouterFree - A wireless router is included with no charge for P and P

Contract Length18 months - if you don't like your chosen package you can cancel within the first 30 days. Should you want to cancel your contract after this period you will be charged £70 or less if near the end of the contract

Download Limit Exceed NotesIf you persistently use Peer to Peer (P2P) file sharing technology during 6pm and 10pm, you will be issued with a warning by email. This will then be followed by a call from TalkTalk if you continue to use P2P. There is a £5 penalty if you exceed your monthly usage limit.

UK Phone Call Charges
This package comes with a phone line offering unlimited UK evening and weekend calls. 'Boost' your Calls Package to Unlimited Anytime Calls, Call Features such as Ringback & Reminder or reduce the cost of calls to Mobiles for an additional £4 a month. A 9.05p connection fee applies to all non-inclusive calls. Call charges will be rounded up to the nearest full minute. You can find details of other call costs in the table below.
