Virgin Media's Broadband: XXL details...

Virgin Media offers the UK?s fastest broadband service at speeds of up to 50Mb, as well as its fibre optic 20Mb and 10Mb broadband packages. Customers can also bundle their award-winning broadband with a huge range of services, including home phone, digital TV, mobile broadband and even mobile phone tariffs.

This is a broadband 'only' package, you do not have to switch your calls or line rental. This is an ultra fast broadband package, ideal for heavy broadband users, home businesses, hosting online games and families that spend a lot of time online. You can download a music track in less than 1 second or a DVD quality movie in under around 5 minutes

The main features included with this package are a ultrafast internet connection, wireless N router & adaptor, free security software, unlimited downloads (without a traffic management policy) and you don't need a landline
Monthly Cost£33.00 - Per month for 1st 3 months, £38.00 per month thereafter. Line rental is not required
Connection Fee£55.00 - A one-off fee to activate your new connection.
Modem/RouterFree - A free wireles router and modem is included with no charge for P and P. If you end your contract with Virgin Media you will have to return the hardware
First Year Cost£496.00 - The first year cost takes account of the revised monthly cost from 01/09/09. This includes any promotional discounts, router costs and connection fees. Line rental is not required
Contract Length12 months - Should you cancel your contract during this period, the remaining balance will be charged to you in one lump sum. However there is a 30 day money back guarantee period
