About BT Business Broadband

BT Business Broadband is BT's business arm. It offers a wide range of services, from fibre optic cable connections for small businesses to packages that include calls, Wi-Fi and even mobile broadband.

BT launched its 38Mb broadband packages in 2010, after upgrading millions of users to 17Mb connections in summer 2009, with business customers being the first to benefit from the new, faster speeds.

In October 2011, BT announced plans to push the broadband speed barrier even further with trials of its 110Mb fibre to the premises (FTTP) service, which will be capable of delivering download speeds of up to 300Mb. BT also plans to increase superfast broadband coverage from the current level - 20% of the UK - to 40% by 2012, and to two-thirds of the population by 2014.

The BT Business Broadband service

BT Business offers a 38Mb superfast broadband package; BT Infinity for business which offers up to 38Mb download, and 10Mb upload speeds. It includes a Wireless Infinity for business hub, unlimited Wi-Fi minutes and a 100GB usage allowance.

BT offers four copper wire ADSL Business Total Broadband packages; all come with speeds of up to 17Mb and offer unlimited Wi-Fi.

• Basic broadband comes with a 10GB monthly download allowance, suitable for home office and small business users
• Unlimited broadband has no download limit
• Advance broadband comes with a 50GB usage allowance and a free router
• Advance Support broadband offers an unlimited usage allowance, free router and 24/7 freephone support.
