Toucan Steps Up

(22-11-06) - Toucan has finally launched its 8Mb broadband, bringing their customers up to speed.

Toucan packages had previously been available at 512k, 1Mb and 2Mb, but following what their competitors such as BT and Tiscali did months ago, they have upgraded at last.

Chris Eagle, BroadbandChoices Commercial Manager said: “Toucan is 6 months behind the rest of the broadband market in offering 8Mb packages. However it is good they have caught up because they always offer competitive prices for both their broadband and home phone packages, offering one of the lowest line rental costs in the UK at £8.99.”

Their new high-speed package starts from £14.99 when combined with one of their home phone plans, and has unlimited downloads (though this is subject to a fair usage policy).
