AOL’s Wireless Flexi package comes with a download speed of up to 8Mb, a monthly download allowance of 10GB and a free wireless router worth £50.
Because it’s a no contract broadband package that allows you to cancel whenever you want - though AOL are confident that you won’t want to - you will have to pay a £29.99 set-up fee to cover AOL’s costs if you leave after only a few months.
And for a limited time you can also add AOL Talk Unlimited for free, so you pay nothing for local or national calls, any time of the day.
Benefits of Wireless Flexi
The rolling one-month contract is a great feature for any Wireless Flexi customer as you won’t be tied in for 12 or even 24 months like customers on its other packages.
And unlike many other no-contract broadband providers, you’ll still be able to get a free wireless router.
AOL Broadband
AOL is great for technophobes as it’s a reliable ISP with a good reputation for customer service, and provides free technical support to anyone calling from an AOL line. All packages also come with full wireless security to keep you safe online, and parental controls to keep the kids secure too.
However, AOL does operate a regional pricing policy which means that customers living outside of its local loop unbundled (LLU) area have to pay more for their broadband. Double check that you’re within its LLU area before signing up.
