TalkTalk is offering free broadband connections to anyone signing up to its broadband service this bank holiday weekend (02-05-08).
Customers signing up to TalkTalk's (www.TalkTalk.co.uk) “free broadband” this weekend - from 3 May until 9am on the 6 May - won’t have to pay the standard £29.99 connection fee.
TalkTalk offers four Talk packages, all of which come with free broadband at a speed of up to 8Mb, a 40GB download allowance and a free modem.
TalkTalk is a fully unbundled provider so customers have to pay line rental direct to TalkTalk rather than BT (www.BT.com), though at £10.50 a month it’s the same price.
Package prices range from £5.89 - a total of £16.39 a month including line rental - for the Talk International Evening and Weekends plan to £14.49 - a total of £24.99 a month including line rental - for the top Talk Total Anytime plan.
Michael Phillips, BroadbandChoices.co.uk product director, said: “If you’ve been considering a switch to TalkTalk but haven’t gotten round to it, this bank holiday weekend is the perfect time to reduce your monthly bills and save yourself an additional £29.99 on the connection fee.
“TalkTalk offers one of the most competitive home phone and broadband deals on the market, so you’d be hard pushed to find a cheaper package elsewhere,” he added.
