Virgin Broadband
Virgin Media (www.VirginMedia.com) offers a range of internet packages with attractive bundles such as their 2 for £20 and 3 for £30 deals. It uses fast cable technology to deliver your broadband and is currently upgrading many of its 4Mb customers up to 10Mb for free, as well as launching the UK’s fastest residential broadband at speeds of up to 50Mb.
Virgin Media currently offers three broadband speeds - 2Mb, 4Mb and 20Mb. However, it will be upgrading its 4Mb customers to speeds of up to 10Mb during 2008, as well as launching a new 50Mb product towards the end of the year.
Its M Broadband, at speeds of up to 2Mb, currently costs only £4.50 a month for 12 months for customers taking a Virgin Media phone line at £11 a month too. M Broadband usually costs £9 a month when taken with a phone line.
The 4Mb L Broadband package currently costs £11.50 a month for 12 months when taken with a Virgin Media phone line (usually £16 a month).
XL Broadband - with speeds of up to 20Mb - is also currently discounted, costing £23.50 a month when taken with a phone line.
And because Virgin Media uses its own cable network to provider your phone line as well as your broadband, you don’t have to pay BT for any additional line rental.
