Tiscali Broadband
The Italian broadband giant has branched out to offer not only high speed internet access, but also home phone and even digital TV packages. It has been working hard to unbundle exchanges and install its own equipment so that customers living in its local loop unbundled (LLU) areas can now get free line rental too. Tiscali offers broadband packages at speeds of up to 8Mb with prices ranging from £6.49 for the first three months and £12.99 thereafter for a 5GB monthly download allowance or £8.49 for the first three months and £14.99 thereafter for an “unlimited” package (fair usage applies).
Customers in LLU areas can also save up to £132 a year with Tiscali’s free line rental offer and all of its packages can be combined with competitive home phone and digital TV bundles too.
Tiscali bundles
Tiscali offers home broadband and phone bundles for £14.99 a month for an “unlimited” 8Mb connection and free weekend UK calls or £19.99 a month including free anytime UK calls. Again, if you live in a LLU area you won’t have to pay line rental.
Tiscali offers two “triple-play” bundles incorporating digital TV into the mix; the first costs £15.99 for the first three months and £19.99 thereafter for an “unlimited” 8Mb package, free weekend UK calls and digital TV. The second costs £19.99 for the first three months and £24.99 thereafter for an “unlimited” 8Mb package, free anytime UK calls and digital TV. Both come with free line rental in LLU areas.
