AOL Broadband Wireless Plus

AOL offers a range of broadband packages at speeds of up to 8Mb, all of which can be bundled with inclusive telephone calls as well, and its Wireless Plus package is its top of the range offering.

Wireless Plus

AOL's (www.AOL.co.uk) Wireless Plus package comes with a download speed of up to 8Mb and a high download allowance of 40GB so you can catch up on all your favourite shows via the BBC iPlayer and download the latest chart releases too.

But best of all, it comes with a free laptop, which is wireless-ready straight out of the box.

So, for £9.99 for the first three months and £19.99 thereafter, you can get home broadband with a free wireless router worth £50, a free laptop to log on no matter where you are, and free AOL Talk Pay As You Go - which now includes weekend calls at no extra cost.

Benefits of Wireless Plus

The major draw for the Wireless Plus package is the free laptop on offer. It comes with Windows Vista, 1GB of memory, an 80GB hard drive, DVD writer and a 15.4” screen - and is wireless-ready straight out of the box.

AOL broadband

AOL is a reliable ISP with a good reputation for customer service, and provides free technical support to anyone calling from an AOL line - great for technophobes. It also offers a host of tips and services to keep you safe online - such as security software and parental controls.

However, AOL does operate a regional pricing policy which means that customers living outside of its local loop unbundled (LLU) area have to pay more for their broadband. Double check that you’re within its LLU area before signing up.
