Our new, easy-to-use online speed tester will help you find out your actual broadband speed and help you make a decision whether to switch to a different supplier.

Broadbandchoices.co.uk has an easy-to-use improved online speed tester.

We have discontinued our old downloadable speed tester, but we’re confident you’ll find the new online speed tester much better than the old one. The old speed tester was taken off the site on 31 March 2011.

What should you do now?

If you have the old downloadable speed tester, you should uninstall it, as it may issue error messages in the future.

Un-installing the old speed tester (takes just 20 seconds)

1. Right click on black icon that is next to the PC Clock on the bottom right of your screen.
2. Then select "Exit"
3. Now click on "Start" on the bottom left of your screen
4. Now Select "Programs"
5. Now Select "Broadband Choices"
6. Now select "uninstall".
