Zen Internet (www.Zen.co.uk) has won its ninth Which? Best Buy award for customer satisfaction - topping the satisfaction tables for the fifth year running.
Having been awarded five stars for its 89% satisfaction score, the ISP is now the only provider to hold the watchdog’s Best Buy title.
"If you want to be sure to get broadband that offers top-notch levels of service, go for a Which? Best Buy, as rated by our members, in our unique survey of home broadband users. With an overall Which? customer score of 89%, Zen truly deserves its Best Buy broadband provider status," said Which?
Zen said that its win was down to the high quality of customer service it offers; none of its call centre staff use or read from scripts - they "really know their stuff". Zen added that they are “highly trained, UK based technical support staff who not only speak tech-talk but who can also talk in layman's terms.”
Richard Tang, managing director at Zen Internet, said: “I am delighted that we have achieved this latest Best Buy from Which?
“It is a testament to the commitment of all our staff to our long-term mission to provide the best ISP service in the UK. We have many service improvements lined up for 2010 and I'm really looking forward to delivering these to our customers as the year progresses.”
Which? Best Buy scores are based on overall satisfaction and the likelihood that customers will recommend their ISP to friends.
Zen offers three home broadband packages, starting at £17.99 a month for a 5GB allowance, going up to £24.99 for a 25GB allowance or £34.99 for a 50GB limit. Each package comes with up to 20Mb broadband, and a rolling one month contract.
Michael Phillips, Broadbandchoices.co.uk product director, said: "Over the years Zen has consistently proven itself to be a fast, reliable broadband provider that offers excellent customer service and its Which? Best Buy status over the past five years is testament to that.”
