T-Mobile mobile broadband
T-Mobile offers a choice of pay as you go mobile broadband, pay monthly plans or even pay upfront packages.
As well as the usual mobile broadband dongles, T-Mobile also offers free laptop deals and mobile broadband routers to share your connection.
Its pay monthly plans come with either 18 or 24 month contracts and 3GB or 5GB download allowances, while its pay as you go tariffs cost £2 a day, £7 for a week or £15 a month.
Its pay upfront dongles come pre-loaded with either three months usage, or a year’s connection, and by paying upfront, you can save up to 25 per cent on their data.
T-Mobile broadband benefits
One of the major benefits of T-Mobile’s packages is the fact that it has a fair usage policy rather than a set download limit. Other providers charge as much as 19.6p per MB over your allowance, but with T-Mobile you won’t immediately be charged if you go over your monthly 3GB or 5GB.
T-Mobile is also regularly voted the fastest mobile broadband provider.
T-Mobile mobile broadband coverage
The top speed on T-Mobile’s network is currently 7.2Mb. However, speeds vary depending on where you live and as with a fixed-line connection, you're unlikely to reach your top advertised speed.
