Virgin Media has cut the cost of its XXL 50Mb broadband package for new customers.
Customers can now sign up to the UK’s fastest broadband package from just £18 a month for three months, £28 a month thereafter when taken with a Virgin Media (www.VirginMedia.com) landline at £11 a month. New standalone customers can get the cable provider’s superfast broadband for £33 a month for the first three months, £38 thereafter.
This is the second time that prices for the up to 50Mb package have been cut. It previously cost £35 a month with a Virgin Media phone line or £50 a month as a standalone product.
XXL 50Mb broadband offers “unlimited broadband” downloads, subject to a fair usage policy and as yet there is no traffic management on Virgin Media’s top package.
Michael Phillips, BroadbandChoices.co.uk product director, said: “This latest round of price cuts present the perfect opportunity for customers to experience all that superfast broadband has to offer - from high speed music and movie downloads to superfast online gaming and HD web streaming, Virgin Media’s 50Mb broadband really lets you make the most of the internet.”
