(16-11-06) - Vodafone has announced details of its new broadband service, Vodafone at Home, due to be launched in January next year.
Search UK broadband providers, check prices and download limits.
In a bid to join the likes of Orange and Virgin by cashing in on the ever-expanding broadband market, Vodafone UK is offering its 16.3m customers a discounted price on their new service.
Vodafone mobile users will be able to get 8Mb broadband, free UK calls and 25 per cent off calls to mobiles for £25 a month (including line rental). The service will cost £35 a month for non Vodafone mobile customers.
But Chris Eagle, BroadbandChoices Commercial Manager warned: “For Vodafone to succeed where many others have struggled in the UK ISP market they will need to deliver high quality customer service with a clear positioning of their product.
“Consumers are often confused by offers tying their mobile phone contract with broadband for their home. But Vodafone are clearly trying to learn from the mistakes made by Orange when re-branding from Wanadoo.”
