Sim-only mobile broadband offers great value for money. You get the same amount of data for the same price as 18 month customers, without having to sign a long contract. And if you're a pay as you go customer you'll get an even better deal by switching to a sim-only contract - you'll get 5GB a month for just £15, compared to 3GB for the same price on a pay as you go tariff.
Three’s sim-only mobile broadband plan runs on a 30 day contract - so you only need to give 30 days notice if you want to cancel - perfect for people who only need mobile broadband for part of the year, such as students and occasional business users.
To use your Three mobile broadband sim, you'll have to have a Three dongle. Mobile broadband dongles are locked to their network, so you can't use them with a sim card from another provider. However, you can buy a Three mobile USB modem stick for less than £20 - and if you’re an existing pay as you go customer, or you have an old dongle you're no longer using, you can simply use your new sim and switch to the provider’s 30 day contract.
Three's mobile broadband network reaches almost 93% of the population. However, you should still check the network coverage in your area before you sign up. You can do this online at www.Three.co.uk or in a Three store. You can also check our Three mobile broadband coverage guide for additional information.
