Pipex Broadband

Pipex Broadband

Pipex was one of the UK’s first ISPs, and has been up and running since 1991. It is now the UK’s fourth largest broadband supplier. Pipex Broadband offers a choice of six internet packages, depending on your usage and how much you want to pay for your broadband connection. You can choose from speeds of up to 8Mb, and you can opt for a Pipex home phone package.

Pipex broadband packages

Pipex sold its broadband and phone business to Italian rival Tiscali in 2007 (bought by TalkTalk in 2009). Compare all current broadband deals and bundles from TalkTalk on this page:

Reasons for choosing Pipex Broadband

Pipex Broadband packages are full of added extras and freebies, including modems, free set-up, loyalty rewards, a static IP option, and home telephone deals. Pipex regularly runs special offers and deals (such as a free one-month Napster membership), so keep an eye on them if you’re looking for cheap broadband or an opportunity to save money.

I have been with Pipex for a long time, and I am upset that you want to put up my monthly payments to £19.99 because I just want the basic broadband, and not the phone calls. I think it is like blackmail to say unless I give you more business for the same price, plus having to use you for ALL phone calls, I am going to have to pay more for less. The price on your web page is for less than I am paying at present, why? Please help me so that I do not have to else where. - Jan 17 2010 6:37PM

I totally agree with what you have just said, the network is always crushing and I too I am having problems with ISP service, and with Pop3 not being able to retrieve emails. Constantly crushing and is getting too expensive as well. I am actually considering to change o Talk Talk, very good feedback on them. Free calls to at least 37 countries and phone calls are free all day to local numbers. I call them and the quote is very good. - Jan 15 2010 6:39PM

I currently have an Internet and telephone account with you. My account number is M2051294.
I am becoming very dissatisfied with the e-mail service you are providing as I am annoyed with the unacceptbly high occurrences of being informed "Your Pop3 server has not responded in 60 seconds" and I am unable to retrieve my mail.
Unless you can satisfy me that your service in this respect will improve I will consider terminating my contract with you and seeking an alternative ISP.
I have tried logging on with you as an existing customer but when I did so I was advised that my User Name.. AXJS60@xtreme4.pipex.net and Password...ejatefiz, were incorrect. These are the User Name and Password details provided by you in all previous correspondence.

I think you have been taking me for a ride & I shall be cancelling as soon as I can

As existing customer I wanted to introduce a new customer and need to know if there are still the £25 introduction incentives that Toucan had.
I also wanted to know cost of line rental, anytime calls and broadband.......difficult to suss out on your website. Please reply with all information not just a general reply/phone an 0871 number etc if you are genuine about getting a genuine new customer.
Your price will have to be well under £20 in order to be competitive to attract this new business. No, TV is not wanted.
I look forward to receiving your reply.
