New customers signing up to Plusnet Broadband's (www.Plus.net) Value package by 29 March will enjoy a price freeze for the next 12 months, the ISP has announced.
The award winning broadband provider is set to increase prices on 12 April, meaning that its Value package - which is currently the UK’s cheapest standalone broadband deal at just £5.99 a month - is set to go up.
However, Plusnet has promised customers that they won’t face an increase if they register by 29 March.
Plusnet Value comes with up to 8Mb broadband and a 10GB download allowance, making it perfect for light users.
It also offers a high end package, Plusnet Premium, which comes with 20Mb broadband and a much higher download allowance - and currently costs from £11.99 a month.
Both packages can also be bundled with Plusnet’s range of home phone deals and line rental.
Michael Phillips, Broadbandchoices.co.uk product director, said: “Plusnet has won a host of awards for its broadband and customer service, so if you’re looking for a cheap broadband package then it’s hard to beat Plusnet’s Value tariff. If you’re after a cheap deal but need a higher download allowance, TalkTalk Broadband’s (www.TalkTalk.co.uk) Essential plan, with up to 24Mb broadband and a 40GB allowance for just £6.99 a month is also a great offer.”
