If you use Norton / McAfee / AVG / etc anti-virus software you will get messages telling you that the BDM could be a virus or an malicious piece of software. You will need to tell your anti-virus software to proceed with the installation, otherwise the BDM will not be installed.
Your anti virus software may also warn you that the BDM is trying to access the internet. Depending on your anti virus software, you will need to tell your software that the BDM is allowed to connect to the internet. If the BDM cannot connect to the internet the software will not function.
The Broadband Download Monitor (BDM) requires your version of microsoft windows to have a .net framework v2.0 installed. This sounds very complicated, but it nothing to worry about. Let us explain…
The BDM counts your downloads, you will have to tell the BDM what your limit of target is. Double click on the downward arrow icon to load the DBM Configuration Screen, then set your limit.
