Download limits for 30 day mobile broadband packages are normally either 3GB or 5GB, but can be as much as 10GB. Some providers will allow you to buy data add-ons if you exceed your allowance, but others will simply charge you an out of bundle rate - which can soon add up.
As with all mobile broadband contracts, you need to be careful not to exceed your monthly download allowance as out of bundle costs can range from 1.96p per MB to a massive 19.6p per MB. Check your mobile broadband account regularly to see how much data you’ve used, or install our free Broadband Download Monitor to track your downloads and set alarms as you reach your limit.
