Vodafone has unleashed a new free laptop with mobile broadband offer, and is discounting the first three months of two of its mobile broadband price plans.
Vodafone (www.Vodafone.co.uk) has a new “free laptop” deal for customers signing-up to a 24-month mobile broadband contract.

Vodafone is offering customers a free Acer Aspire 5535 when they sign-up for Vodafone’s long-term contract. It includes 3GB of downloads a month.
The Acer Aspire 5535 has a 15.6inch LCD screen and 3D sonic stereo speakers making it suitable for watching hi-definition movies.
Vodafone has also cut the cost of its mobile broadband price plans. It’s offering three months’ free on its 24-month contract, which then reverts to £15 a month.
On its 18-month contract, it’s offering the first three months discounted to £10. After that it’s back to £15.
Michael Phillips, BroadbandChoices.co.uk product director, said: “The Acer laptop is great for watching HD movies, but beware downloading them in any great volume. This contract only comes with 3GB of downloads, so might not be suitable for anyone who relies on it for high volumes of streaming and/or downloading media.
“You should also consider whether you want to be tied into a contract for two years. Being under a contract of that length could mean you miss out on new, cheaper deals with higher download limits while you are under contract.”
“Install our free Broadband Download Monitor to ensure that you never exceed your limit,” he added.
