As well as being a mobile phone provider, O2 offers a range of mobile broadband packages - with a choice of pay-as-you-go, rolling 30-day deals and 18 or 24-month contracts.

O2's pay monthly contracts come with a generous monthly download allowance, from anywhere between 1GB and 10GB. Additional usage is charged at several pence, so it's best to ensure you're on the right package from day one.

Users also get unlimited access to thousands of free Wi-Fi hotspots.

O2 also offers a monthly discount on its home broadband for customers on selected mobile broadband packages.
