Six months free TalkTalk Essentials broadband

Cheap internet provider TalkTalk broadband (www.Talktalk.co.uk) is offering new customers a massive six months free broadband when they sign up to its Essentials package.

The deal, which is running until the end of September will save you over £40.

TalkTalk’s Essentials package is one of the UK’s cheapest broadband and home phone deals, offering speeds of up to 20Mb broadband and a 40GB download allowance, as well as free evening and weekend calls for just £6.99 a month.

You will still have to pay a £29.99 connection fee and £11.49 line rental - though this is going up by 50p a month from 1 October, making it the same price as BT broadband (www.BT.com) line rental. An 18 month contract also applies.

TalkTalk also offers a high-end Plus package, which offers “unlimited broadband” downloads, subject to a fair usage policy, anytime landline calls and even discounted mobile phone rates - but this package isn’t included in the six months free broadband deal. It costs £14.99 a month plus line rental.
