BT Sunshine Deals

The Great British Summer is here. So why not take shelter from the rain and get the sun shining on your broadband with BT’s new Sunshine Deal, which includes broadband and unlimited anytime calls for £16 a month.

Along with the Sunshine Deal, there are a number of other packages from BT broadband (www.BT.com) available to help you save, whether you’re surfing the web or shooting the breeze this summer.

BT summer deals

The BT Sunshine Deal delivers up to 20Mb broadband along with a monthly download allowance of 10GB, and also includes unlimited anytime phone calls for just £16 a month.

While you will have to pay line rental on top of the Sunshine Deal, which is usually £14.60 a month with BT, you can knock this down to £10 a month by paying 12 months line rental up front.

But further savings are afoot, as the package also includes four months free broadband and calls, which could save you up to £64.

BT broadband packages

The BT Sunshine Deal gives you a monthly download allowance of 10GB. This is just what you need if you’re a fairly light internet user and spend more time emailing and browsing the web than downloading music and catching up on TV via the likes of the BBC’s iPlayer. Or if you don’t live with loads of people who will all be wanting to use the internet at once.

If you exceed the 10GB monthly download allowance, which is enough to download around 15 films or 2,500 songs, you’ll be charged £5 for every 5GB you go over. If you think there’s a good chance that could happen, then maybe either the More Broadband and Calls or Unlimited Broadband and Calls packages could be the ones for you.

While both of these offer speeds of up to 20Mb like the Sunshine Deal, More Broadband and Calls carries 40GB usage and Unlimited Broadband and Calls delivers unlimited broadband, subject to BT’s fair usage policy.

BT Infinity

If you’re still feeling the need for speed, then a superfast BT Infinity fibre optic package could be the answer, delivering up to 40Mb broadband and up to 10Mb upload speeds.

The More Broadband and Calls with superfast BT Infinity broadband package will give you a 40GB monthly download allowance, while the Unlimited Broadband and Calls with BT Infinity unsurprisingly offers “unlimited” usage.

BT broadband bundles

Looking for even more ways to save money? Bundling broadband with one of the other products and service offered by BT could do just that. As well as the obvious phone and calling plans available, there is also BT Vision, BT’s digital TV service.

From unlimited, anytime calls to cheap line rental and digital TV with the option of Sky Sports and on-demand movies, BT can provide a package to fit your pay packet this summer.
