O2 Broadband packages
In 2006, O2 (www.O2.co.uk) launched a range of broadband products available to everyone, with additional discounts for O2 mobile phone and iPhone customers. O2 was voted 'Best
Overall Provider' (Bundled Providers) in our 2011
Broadband
Provider awards, sweeping the board in all six customer
satisfaction categories including: quality and reliability,
value
for money and the quality of its customer service.
O2 is one of the few providers to offer truly unlimited
broadband (The Works and The All Rounder packages) so you
can
download without fear of excess charges or throttling of
your
bandwidth. And if you are already an O2 customer, your
broadband
will be £5 cheaper than for non-customers.

Customer quotes taken from our 2013 survey
"Switching to O2 was very easy and painless, and the provided router is a refreshing change from the norm because its interface is mostly in plain English (in keeping with O2's commitment to that). Unfortunately, the provided router, by default, has the FTP ports closed but broadcasting, meaning that port-scanners can detect the presence of your computer (ideally they should not be closed, but hidden by the router's firewall), and has UPnP active. However, this is the only gripe that I have with the entire package. "
"customer service/technical help are really great - you can't fault them. i am just waiting for them to finish trialling fibre optic then hopefully i can upgrade and get a decent speed "
"A very slow broadband its a normal thing , but the prices keep going up for a very poor speed."
"Broadband speed is a bit too slow <8 Mbit/sec. Latency a little high too. "
"Too Expensive. "
