Plusnet is part of the BT group and is known for offering low
cost broadband packages.

Plusnet was a finalist for the Best Consumer Fixed Broadband
award at the prestigious 2011 ISPA awards and was highly commended

Satisfaction Awards 2011 for bundled providers.

Our provider star ratings are sourced directly from our Broadband Customer Satisfaction Awards. Customers were asked to grade their broadband provider on a scale from 'very satisfied' to 'not at all satisfied' across six criteria.

These criteria were reliability, download times, value for money, customer service, activation speed - how quickly their service was activated after they subscribed - and clarity of billing. A broadband provider's overall rating is taken as an average of these six ratings.

What our users had to say about Plusnet

The good

I've been with many Internet providers in nearly 20 years, but Plusnet is head and shoulders above the rest. I cannot recommend them too highly. A fantastic service.
I have always found plusnet very responsive to technical and customer service enquiries. They have an excellent online community which is very useful.
They provide the fastest service I can expect in my village.
Plusnet have bent over backwards to get me the best phone line and internet connection. This even hen I am on the half price tarrif. Their speed of action can only be equalled but never beaten. Not only this but whenever I phone them I get through to a person in this country, which is a lot easier than speaking to someone in a foreign land.
It's much better value for money and loads faster than my old provider.

The bad

Quite a few times it is difficult to connect to my broadband and I have to keep trying.
Speed has dropped since I relocated, sadly.
Would be nice if they offered something for loyalty, not just to new customers.
Although help has been offered... via phone & Plusnet Assist.... neither have solved my connection problems.
About to leave, cos great deals reserved for "new customers only".
