TalkTalk Customer Satisfaction Rating (from 1726 ratings)
Close

Our provider star ratings are sourced directly from our Broadband Customer Satisfaction Awards. Customers were asked to grade their broadband provider on a scale from 'very satisfied' to 'not at all satisfied' across six criteria.

These criteria were reliability, download times, value for money, customer service, activation speed - how quickly their service was activated after they subscribed - and clarity of billing. A broadband provider's overall rating is taken as an average of these six ratings.

For each provider, our journalists selected a representative sample of customer reviews. Their reviews are shown as-is and are not edited, whether good and bad. We trust they will provide you with a balanced take on each provider.

What our users had to say about TalkTalk

The good

Excellent on-line technical support forum.
Good value for money.
I think that Talktalk is unfairly talked about. I have been with them for two years and have found them to be totally reliable.
Excellent on-line technical support forum.
We moved house to one which had no telephone line. Talktalk installed one free. It was installed and activated within 2 days. I was very impressed.

The bad

Has become unreliable.
40 gig allowance in this age of demand tv is not good enough.
They didnt supply me with a router even though it was part of the package, They sent me an engineer out free of charge to check out the speed of my internet conection and he managed to get it to 14 mps but it has now deteriorated back down to 11mps.
It is sometimes difficult to understand the people you are dealing with so causes frustration.
Customer service is poor. Reliability of router is very poor.
