Zen Broadband packages

Unlike many providers, Zen is not involved in major
advertising campaigns but continues to add new customers simply by
word of mouth. They are also helped by the fact that they have won
a string of awards and accolades from respected bodies such as PC
Advisor and Which? over the last few years.

Zen offer up to 16Mb broadband, and a superfast up to 76Mb fibre
connection.

Our provider star ratings are sourced directly from our Broadband Customer Satisfaction Awards. Customers were asked to grade their broadband provider on a scale from 'very satisfied' to 'not at all satisfied' across six criteria.

These criteria were reliability, download times, value for money, customer service, activation speed - how quickly their service was activated after they subscribed - and clarity of billing. A broadband provider's overall rating is taken as an average of these six ratings.

The good

Reliability is excellent.

You are treated as a customer and not an account number. If they say they will phone you back they do.

No frills, but very efficient. Good phone assistance.

The bad

My dissatisfaction with my internet service is solely due to matters outside the control of Zen ie excruciatingly slow speeds caused by distance from the exchange and overhead phone lines.

Could be a bit cheap, but you pay for the quality of service it seems with broadband.
