Sky broadband
Sky (www.Sky.com) is probably best known for its digital TV packages, but it also offers home phone and Sky broadband. Customers wanting to bundle their Sky TV with broadband can take advantage of its free 2Mb broadband, or take its top package, offering speeds of up to 16Mb.
Sky broadband
Sky doesn’t offer standalone broadband, but customers who want, or already have, Sky TV can advantage of its award winning broadband service.
Sky’s Broadband Base, at speeds of up to 2Mb and with a download allowance of XBG comes as a free add-on, Broadband Mid, which won the BroadbandChoices.co.uk Middle Weight Speed awards for 2007, offers speeds of up to 8Mb and a download allowance of XGB costs an additional £5 a month, and Sky’s Broadband Max package, offering superfast speeds of up to 16Mb, with an “unlimited” download allowance (fair usage applies) costs an additional £10 a month.
Sky TV costs from £16 a month for one “entertainment” mix up to £21 a month for all six mixes. Once you’ve chosen your digital TV package you can then add your broadband.
Home phone call packages and money saving bundles are also available, such as the popular See Speak Surf package, from £19 a month for four entertainment mixes, Talk Freetime with free UK evening and weekend calls and 2Mb Broadband Base.
You also get a free wireless router with all packages but will have to pay an additional fee to BT for your phone line rental.
