How do I watch the final season of Game of Thrones? I NEED to find out what happens before the internet spoils it for me!
Peggy, via email
Someone on Facebook totally spoiled the Red Wedding episode for me a few years ago, so I'm with you on that one, Peggy. Thankfully, it's now easier than ever to watch Game of Thrones - you won't be behind the internet for too long.
When does Game of Thrones season 8 start?
It starts on 14 April. You can watch the season premiere at 2am when it's simulcast with the US airing, or later on at 9pm. After that, you can watch it any time of day on demand.
Only the first episode will be shown at 2am - for the rest of the series, you'll have to wait until Monday evenings.
You'll find it on Sky Atlantic - channel 108 on Sky - and it's in HD. Get ready to see those rugged, war-torn faces in gloriously high resolution.
So, the question is: how do you get Sky Atlantic? There are only two providers that offer it...
NOW TV
Don't want Sky TV? The only other way to watch Game of Thrones - legally, anyway - is with a NOW TV Entertainment Pass.

This is a rolling, 30-day subscriptions that lets you watch 11 channels live and on-demand, including Sky Atlantic. You can buy a pass on its own from NOW TV's website, or in a special Combo with broadband too - the full TV package gives you a TV box and Freeview channels as well.
Once you have a NOW TV Pass, you can watch Game of Thrones on various devices - like your computer, iOS and Android smartphones, tablets, certain smart TVs, streaming sticks, and TV set top boxes. You can buy a Pass through your YouView, TiVo, or EE TV box too.
Sky
All Sky TV comes with Sky Atlantic. You can get TV from the provider on its own, or bundled in with broadband - which is often better value than getting the two services separately. Basically, if you're out of contract with your current TV and/or broadband, now's a great time to switch.
Just remember that you'll need a satellite dish installed if you don't have one already, and make sure you've got enough time to set it all up before the new series starts. And if you want to watch in HD, you'll need to subscribe to the Sky HD channel pack as well.
If you have Sky, you can also watch Game of Thrones via Sky Go for free. In other words, you can watch it online through the website, or via your smartphone, tablet, or even games console (with Sky Go Extra). That's perfect if someone else is hogging the telly when nine o'clock hits, or if you want to watch it at your mate's house instead.

Watch out though, as only two devices can be registered with Sky Go at a time - or up to four with Sky Go Extra.
