Terms and conditions

By using the send us your bill service, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

a)      DO NOT SEND US YOUR ORIGINAL BILL AS WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RETURN IT.

b)      We cannot accept responsibility if your bill is lost in the post.

c)       The photo or photocopy of your bill you send will not be returned to you; it will be scanned and stored on a secure drive. Hard copies will be destroyed.

d)      The scanned copy of your bill will be deleted after 28 days.

e)      We will not share your data with any third-parties. Please read our privacy policy for full details.

f)       Although we will perform a comprehensive search for services offered by major providers in your area, we may not search for services offered by all the providers that offer services in your area.

g)      We recommend providers and packages based on the information on the bill and the postcode you have supplied.

h)      Our recommendations are based on providers offering similar services to those indicated on your current bill at a lower cost. If we calculate that you are currently on the most cost-effective package and provider we may recommend alternative providers and variations i.e. faster broadband speeds, larger broadband usage limit or unlimited broadband, more inclusive telephone calls or TV channels.

i)        Other criteria may be of importance to you in making a decision to switch providers and you should check these with the provider concerned before entering into an agreement or contract with them.

j)        Broadband availability and performance can vary from that advertised. You should always check availability and performance with the provider concerned before entering into an agreement or contract with them.

k)      BROADBANDCHOICES.CO.UK IS NOT A BROADBAND PROVIDER - WE ONLY OFFER A PRICE COMPARISON SERVICE. IF YOU PLACE AN ORDER THROUGH OUR SERVICE, YOUR CONTRACT WILL BE DIRECTLY WITH THE PROVIDER CONCERNED.

l)        If you place an order through our service, you should contact the provider directly regarding switching, installation and any other matters relating to the service.

m)    We aim to respond to any send us your bill enquiries within 48 hours of receiving them. This may take longer over weekends, bank holidays and periods when we are exceptionally busy.
