Design

The iPhone 11 Pro Max might not be the radical redesign that some of you were hoping for. Instead it cleaves closely to the design template of 2018's iPhones and the iPhone X that landed back in 2017.

But whereas Apple usually tread sensibly when it comes to colour options, this time round they have opted for a more stylish exterior with the 11 Max Pro's Space Grey, Silver, Midnight Green and Gold colour variants. Plus, the phone's premium matte finish gives the phone phone an elegant look. 

Where you will notice another change is in the camera layout. Like the standard 11, the phone sports a square camera module that protrudes a lot more than on the iPhone XS.

Camera

At the heart of the 11 Pro Max are three camera lenses. These are a standard telephone lens, a wide-angle lens for panoramic shots and a zoom lens.

Plus, the 11 Pro Max sports a Night Sight-style mode that massively improves results in low light.

Elsewhere, the 7-megapixel front-facing camera has also been upgraded to 12 megapixels.

Battery

The iPhone 11 Pro Max lives up to its namesake with its 3,500mAh battery.

Storage

As you’d expect from a plus-sized flagship, the iPhone offers a hefty amount of storage.

The iPhone 11 Max comes with between 64GB and 512GB storage options. Plenty enough room for hundreds of hours of video and thousands of pictures.
