Design
Fan of a bigger smartphone? You’ll be over the moon with the P30 Pro’s curved, 6.4-inch OLED display with tiny bezels and notch. Moreover, the in-display fingerprint sensor under the phone’s screen adds to the device’s minimalist look. In contrast, the Chinese telecoms giant is offering motre colour options, including: Black, Breathing Crystal, Aurora, Amber Sunrise. Black and White.
Finally, the P30 Pro will boast three vertically aligned cameras at the back of the device - more on those below.
Specs and features
Under its polished, slick design, the P30 Pro contains some seriously cutting-edge tech. Indeed, to power all of its improved features, the handset features the Kirin 980 processor - Huawei’s most powerful chipset to date.
Here’s what else the phone has to offer:
- Battery - the P30 Pro sports a mammoth 4,000mAh battery with wireless charging capabilities.
- Camera - unlike the standard version, the phone features a 24 MP selfie camera, and three vertically aligned cameras at the back. It also includes 10x optical zoom features for the rear-cameras.
- Storage - memory-wise, the P30 Pro offers an impressive 256GB of storage, and up to 8GB of RAM. To put that into perspective, that’s enough space for thousands of pictures and hundreds of hours’ worth of video.
- Sonos One Speaker - impressively, Huawei has thrown in a Sonos One speaker for anyone who pre orders the P30 Pro.
Cost
In typical flagship fashion, the P30 Pro isn’t cheap. In fact, it costs £899.
Fortunately, if you can’t afford to fork out that much in one go, pay-monthly contracts are a great way to spread the cost.
Release date
The phone was official announced was in Paris on March 26, and its available for pre-order it right now.
Verdict
As you can see, the Huawei P30 Pro is an impressive handset indeed; ideal for anyone looking for a big screen, increased battery life, superior cameras and a slightly smaller price-tag than other flagship handsets.
