Three says their network is built for internetting. Unsurprisingly then, mobile internet is its biggest selling point.
The operator offers a wide range of handsets - including iPhones - with high or unlimited data plans. That's both pay monthly and pay as you go. You can also pick from a selection of SIM-only deals, if you already have a phone you want to use.
So in short, if you like to use the internet on the go, Three is definitely a network worth looking at.
Launched in the UK in March 2003, Three is owned by Hutchison Whampoa Limited - a company that operates mobile networks in 11 countries.
Utilising 3G technology, Three was the first mobile network to provide streaming TV and music content to customers. Back then, that included sporting events and highlights from reality shows like Big Brother and X Factor.
Since then, Three has built up its UK presence, focusing on mobile internet services, with generous mobile data plans that are now on 4G.
Three offers a range of pay monthly plans to suit all kinds of budgets. These stretch from a low 500MB of data, all the way up to its 'All-you-can-eat' plans, which have unlimited minutes, texts, and data.
As well as phone contracts and sim-only plans, you can choose to go pay-as-you-go. Three offers a number of 30-day pay as you go add-ons, which give you inclusive calls, texts and data.
The Three network covers 97% of the population for 3G, calls, and texts, though 4G coverage is a bit lower than that.
